Government Initiative

Digital India Programme

A flagship initiative by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

What is Digital India?

Digital India is a flagship programme of the Government of India launched by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on July 1, 2015, under the stewardship of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). The programme envisions transforming India into a digitally empowered society and a knowledge economy by ensuring digital services, digital access, bridging the digital divide, and promoting digital inclusion and empowerment.

The programme pulls together many existing schemes and weaves them into a single comprehensive vision — IT (Indian Talent) + IT (Information Technology) = IT (India Tomorrow) — making technology central to enable change at every level of society and governance.

At its core, Digital India is designed to ensure that the benefits of development reach each and every citizen of the country in equal measure, with faster and more timely service delivery. The architecture of Digital India has already transformed governance processes for delivery of services across all 28 states and 8 union territories of India.

Pillar 1 — Broadband Highways

With BharatNet bringing broadband to 2.5L+ villages, every new website we create gives citizens a reason to use that connectivity. A website makes broadband useful for local businesses.

Vision — Digital Infrastructure as Utility

Our affordable model makes a professional website as essential and accessible as a mobile connection. We treat a website as a basic business utility, not a luxury.

check_circle

Vision — Digital Empowerment of Citizens

We empower business owners to participate in the digital economy by giving them an online identity. No technical skills needed — we handle everything.

Pillar 6 — Information for All

Every business website we build makes business information publicly accessible — hours, location, services, contact. Open information for informed consumer choices.

Focus — Digital Entrepreneurship

A website is often the first step toward digital entrepreneurship. Our affordable pricing removes the barriers that keep small businesses from starting their online journey.

Focus — Digital Inclusion

By targeting local businesses — chai stalls, tailoring shops, tuition centres, home salons — we bring digital inclusion to the grassroots level where it matters most.
